You have 30 days to try out your purchase, and if you don't love it we'll take it back. There's absolutely no risk! We're that convinced that you'll love it. Returns are accepted up to 30 days from the date the order arrives at your door. Ratio does not pay shipping for returned items.
How to make a return for orders placed through ratiocoffee.com
If you would like to return your Ratio Eight coffee machine, please contact us at email@example.com or call at 800.261.9640 to make arrangements to send your machine back for return.
Do not ship your coffee machine without a return authorization. You are responsible for shipping charges to return the coffee machine to us. Returned coffee machines must be shipped in proper packaging and shipped with insurance for loss or damage, as we are not responsible for products lost or damaged in shipment.
In order to determine whether you are eligible for a return, please provide us with the following information:
- Full name of original purchaser Note: this return process only applies to items purchased from ratiocoffee.com - if you purchased from another retailer, please contact them directly to make a return.
- Order number
- Machine serial number (for Ratio Eight coffee machine returns)
- Order date
- Reason for return
- Name and address of where to mail your refund, should your return be authorized.
If you no longer have your original Ratio packaging, and would like us to send you return packaging, please indicate so in your return request email. We will mail you return packaging and the cost ($15) will be deducted from your refund.
If you would like Ratio to provide you with a return shipping label, please indicate so in your return request email. We will email or mail you the return label and the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Once we receive your return package it will be inspected and a refund will be issued to your card less the return shipping and packaging costs if we provided return packaging and/or a shipping label, and less the restocking fee (if applicable). We will notify you via email after your items are received and after we have credited your card. Refunds are issued as a credit to the original credit card used in the purchase. If we cannot refund the original credit card used for the purchase, we will issue a refund check to the address provided in the return correspondence or the last known address. If the return is being processed over 120 days from the original date of purchase all refunds will be in the form of a check. Please allow up to 14 days to receive your refund.
Please include all free gifts that were shipped with your order. The retail value of any free gifts will be deducted from your refund if they are not included.
Packaging returns and restocking fee
Please be sure to package the items you are returning in the same way that you received them. This is especially important for the Ratio Eight coffee machine. Please do your best to return it to us in the same way it was packaged when you received it.
Items damaged in return shipping due to inadequate or incorrect repackaging, or that are returned exceptionally dirty from use, may be charged a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price. We also reserve the right to assess a restocking fee if the return does not follow the guidelines listed in our Return Policy.
To exchange an item, simply return it using the return process detailed above and place a new order online or over the phone for the item you want.
