Adjusting your Grind

You’ve received your Ratio and you’re ready to brew your first coffee. But what grind setting should you use to get the best cup? Here’s a quick guide to getting your grinder dialed-in, using some of our favorite Baratza grinders.

If you have another grinder, your ground coffee should be about the same size as sugar-in-the-raw. This will usually fall in the middle range. Also, If your coffee is tasting very sour, try adjusting your grind finer. If it’s tasting dry or astringent, adjust your grind a little coarser. If you need help – just call us.
