Timeless Ritual Bundle: Eight S2

The Eight Series 2 features a lightweight polymer body with a stainless steel internal structure, a Tritan water tank for cold water storage, and a stainless steel, aluminum, and glass brew path once brewing begins.

A full batch is 40 ounces (1.25 liters), ideal for 6–8 cups depending on mug size. You can also brew smaller batches with the same great extraction by using recipe B.

The Ratio Eight Series 2 is compatible with the same size filters as the Ratio Six, 8-12 cup flat-bottom filters with a minimum height of 5.75 inches. You can also use the Able reusable stainless steel basket for a paper-free option.

Choose between a double-wall stainless thermal carafe or a hand-blown borosilicate glass carafe. Both are designed specifically for the Eight Series 2 and also work with the Ratio Six. If you add the thermal carafe, you will receive both the glass and thermal.

A full brew typically takes 8–10 minutes, depending on batch size and water temperature.

Ratio machines don’t use a hot plate. Hot plates tend to overheat coffee, causing bitterness and a burnt flavor over time. Instead, our brewers have the option to be paired with a double-wall stainless steel thermal carafe that keeps coffee hot long enough to enjoy a full pot without altering the taste. If you prefer a glass carafe, we recommend serving right away or transferring your brew to an insulated vessel for the best flavor and temperature.
