Back in September 2012, industrial designer James Owen and I started working on the designs for the Ratio Eight. Our inspiration boards were filled with midcentury cars and furniture, architectural forms, and the classic waiter’s corkscrew with a wood handle. It was the beginning of a long journey to produce a unique and iconic coffee maker.

Eleven years later, we’re ready to announce our third product: The Ratio Four.

We’re still a small team united by a vision of offering beautiful, simple machines that brew the best coffee you’ve ever had from a home device.
